Ilona Ginevic is a registered dietitian specializing in inborn errors of metabolism, with over a decade of experience in medical nutrition therapy and metabolic care. She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Metabolic Nutrition at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she leads a team dedicated to providing comprehensive nutritional management for patients of all ages, from infancy through adulthood, diagnosed with complex genetic metabolic disorders.Since joining Mount Sinai in 2013, Ilona has been advancing individualized dietary protocols, mentoring metabolic dietitians, and fostering collaborative care through active participation in multidisciplinary transplant meetings. Ilona holds a bachelor of science in human nutrition engineering and a master’s degree in marketing and management from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Poland. She also earned a Culinary Degree from the Vilnius School of Technology, Business and Agriculture in Lithuania. After relocating to the United States, she completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics at Hunter College in New York and her dietetic internship through ARAMARK.She is a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in New York State and is registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
