Marcus Miller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where he directs the Biochemical Genetics Laboratory and the Molecular Genetics Laboratory. He earned his PhD in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed fellowships in Clinical Biochemical Genetics and Clinical Molecular Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.Dr. Miller’s work focuses on advancing laboratory testing for genetic diseases, with particular interests in LC-MS/MS assay development, acylcarnitine testing, and laboratory information management systems. Beyond his institutional roles, he contributes actively to the genetics community as the current Chair of the SIMD Laboratory Working Group and a member of the CAP/ACMG Biochemical and Molecular Genetics Committee.
