Jenny Goldstein is an associate professor of Genetics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously worked as a genetic counselor and clinical research coordinator at Duke University where she did research on glycogen storage diseases and creatine deficiency syndromes. Jenny now works with the Clinical Genome Resource as a member of various expert panels, focusing on inborn errors of metabolism and ocular disorders. She earned her PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland; completed postdoctoral training at the University of California, Berkeley; and received her MSc in Genetic Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
