Dr. Grace Loudon Meier is a Family Medicine Physician at the Clinic for Special Children in Gordonville, Pennsylvania. She joined the Clinic in 2020, where she leads the development of programs for medically complex adults within a formerly pediatric-only medical home serving Amish and Mennonite communities affected by rare genetic and select metabolic disorders. Her clinical and research interests center on improving health outcomes and care transitions for adults with rare genetic diseases and on integrating primary and specialty care in underserved rural populations.Before joining the Clinic, Dr. Meier completed her Family Medicine residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, where she was among the first participants in the Clinical Genomics Area of Concentration, a collaborative program with the Clinic for Special Children. Dr. Meier earned her B.A. in Biology from Bryn Mawr College in 2012 and her M.D. from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in 2017.Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, running with her dogs, and visiting the beach.
